Privacy Policy
Your data is your data. We collect the minimum needed to run this site and deliver what you asked for, and we never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Who we are
Willow Reed writes about matrescence and maternal identity. The brand is published and operated by QANT Pty Ltd (ACN 088 738 943), registered in Australia. Willow Reed is a pen name, used for privacy; the writing and the experience behind it are real, and the company named above is the publisher. This policy covers the Willow Reed sites at willowreed.me and members.willowreed.me. Nothing here is medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. For any privacy question, email support@willowreed.me.
What we collect on this website
On willowreed.me itself we collect very little:
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you send so we can reply.
- Aggregate analytics. We use a first-party analytics signal to understand which pages are read. It sets no cookies, does not track you across other sites, and is not used to identify you. Where the link you followed carries campaign tags, the signal records which campaign brought you here, not who you are.
- A form check. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a check in your browser to tell a person from an automated script. Cloudflare receives the technical information that check needs.
What we collect when you buy something
Checkout runs on this site, and your account and your products live on the member portal at members.willowreed.me. Payment is processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details. We hold your email address, your account, and the record of what you bought, so we can give you access to it and support you.
The AI guides
Mirror and New Ground include an AI guide. That means a conversation, and a conversation is data, so here is what actually happens to it.
- What you type is sent to the AI service that generates the reply. That is what makes the reply possible. Providers are not permitted to use your conversations to train their models.
- Conversations are kept on your account as named sessions, so the work continues instead of restarting each time. There is a limit of 100 sessions per product.
- Mirror and New Ground carry memory between conversations. The guide is given a short distillation of what you have explored, kept in your own words. It is not a transcript, not a profile, and not an assessment of you.
- You can delete a session at any time, and deleting it removes that conversation. If you tell the guide to let something go, it is dropped from the distillation; what remains is that something was released, never what it was.
- The guides are not clinicians. Your conversations are not clinical records, they are not a diagnosis, and they are not read as one. We do not use them for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell them. Access is limited to what is needed to run and support the product.
How we use it
Contact details are used to reply to you. Your email address on the list is used to send you the writing and nothing else. Analytics are used only in aggregate to improve the site. Purchase records are used to give you access to what you bought. We do not profile you, we run no advertising pixels, and we do not use your information for any purpose beyond operating these sites, delivering what you asked for, and replying to you.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Limited data is shared only with the services needed to operate. Those are QANT, the platform that publishes this site and runs the email list and the member portal, Stripe for payment, Cloudflare for delivery and the form check, and the AI provider that generates guide replies. Beyond that, only where Australian law requires it.
Security and storage
The technical side, meaning where your data is stored, how it is secured, and how long it is kept, is handled by QANT, the platform that publishes this site. If you want that detail, QANT's full privacy and security policy is at qant.au/privacy. It covers the infrastructure behind this site for anyone who wants to look.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Email support@willowreed.me and we will action it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes are reflected in the "last updated" date above.
